Quad Core Folding

Ok, so I've decieded to reinstall folding, but when I look at CPU usage its at 25% and appears to be spread evenly over all cores.

Is there an easy way to get it using all four fully?

use the client not the screensaver
install to four separate directories (c:\fah0, c:\fah1, c:\fah2 and c:\fah3 for example)
config each instance to separate ID (the instance in c:\fah0 would be configed with ID 0 and c:\fah1 would get ID 1, etc)
start each instance and you should get one instance running on each of the cores

There is however a multi-processing version available now, which gives a minor bonus to points when using but I have so far stayed with this config on my dual core laptop, meaning I have no experience with that...

The SMP client gives about 1700 points per unit, around a day or so.

It will show about 25% usage of each core, which makes about 100% total usage.:g:

same when i install the smp client, tho its a little bugged last i used it

Although I've only got two cores I've recently switched to the SMP client as it is supposed to be OK.

However, my completed WUs (2 in 48 hours) are not registering on the stats. There's nothing in the logs to suggest a problem so any ideas as to what's happening?

Stats can take a while to update sometimes (worst I've seen is 3 days)
