Aquilifer

Qualifications went fine, even I lost most of the concetration in the constant qual restarts. In the race the laptimes were lot faster than I had expected. It seemed it was faster than the short races. The first 4 laps constant driving flat out - had to drive 58s to just keep up with the others.

Then lap 4 (?), Stable was getting to my side on the right corner before the 2nd split. I turned bit more right to give him room on the left...then suddedly the rear end lost grip and... bang...we were both on the grass. I had done the corner flat out before, so it was a surprise.

Tyres had red patches and full of grass and everybody miles ahead. Stable left the server so quickly and didn't say anything so I guess he got mad. So decided it was enough for me. Sorry for that mate

There was odd going on the whole night. At one point I got "MP replay - out of stash space" error message... then "Aquilifer does not have a car"...and once when I clicked Join at the setup screen, the car disappeared, but the screen remained gray. Only the OK button at the lower left corner and LX4 in top left. I could see your messages, but could not type myself and clicking the OK didn't do anything..had to kill the app and restart.

Doorman

Ah! That explains the rapid exit of StableX :)
It was a night when being on Ventrilo would have been very helpful. :flirty:

I had been improving my times all through the week and did so even yesterday, but somehow I did not found my normal race mood at all, I felt more like a hotlapper in the race. I don't know how to better describe it, but somehow I did not feel like being inside the race, I was rather just driving and trying to go fast, but the other racers confused me and I did not feel competitive. Still, at best my times were good, I even did PB, but the intense feeling that has been present in 1h races was not there.

LFS has reborn to me. Nothing beats racing with guys whose driving style and capabilities you know and who knows mine.

it might have something to do with the constant reminder of split times :g:
It is better to stay quiet and act the fool, than to say something and remove all doubt
