Says it's ad supported... if that means in-game ads then that's fine, but not if it means adware...

I d'led a couple of them a few weeks back ( & forgot to post about it - soz ) & from what I could tell there just ad supported with about a 30 second ad before the game runs.

Downloading Far Cry, never got around to play it... and then I found this Delta Sector mod, looks nice!

BUMMER:

FarCry a UBI Soft game denies install saying only US residents can play the game. Creating a UBI Soft account for the USA does not fix the problem. No doubt checks the IP and I have yet to find a method to resolve this problem. I will post one when I do.

I have same problem

This seems to go for the UBI soft promotions in that list. What is that, 3 of the games?

But now I read this... can anyone explain *** is meant?

All downloaded files which have not been activated are going to be made inactive through the ubi.com login. Previously, the ubi.com login would require a US country in order to install the game. Ubisoft will make the ubi.com login reject all entries into country. They hope to relaunch the program once we can add IP-blocking into our login process.

I then found this patch, which enables AA with HDR - looks sweet! (tm)
