Well that was an absolutely terrific race. :) I started third, and this time I was only overtaken by two people in the first couple of corners. (yes, that's good by my standards. :D ) Deetz and me were fighting the entire race from start to finish. He was in front, and I was trying to find openings and overtake, but didn't succeed until after like 40 minutes or something. Then he pitted while I kept going a few laps, and when I left pits he was in front of me again. It stayed that way until the end, and the best man won.

All honour to Deetz for the win! But I do feel that I should have been able to make the pass earlier than I did. There were some openings that I didn't manage to take advantage of. It's good to have some room for improvement, though! :)

On a more general note, I have to say that the past month while I've been racing with you guys has been by far the best racing I've ever had. Every night there's close, hard and fair racing to be had on the server. Couldn't be any better!!

Grrr... even the reviews sound fun.
Missed it again... Thursday is probably my most unreliable day of the week scheduling wise.

I'm not so keen on FZR @ Aston whatever, it seems way too fast for me, but here are a few more stars for FZ5!

The trophy has arrived. I can read many familiar names on the name plate. Who´s next?

Yeah. That was a great race. I can't remember everybody I raced. But Oldie, DeeSlider and  Somebody where around me all the time. I did not have a single lap without fighting.

Awesome! (almost like iRacing :roflmao:)

Don't get me started on iRental

Sounds like you all had a blast:D

I have a question seeing as you will be away at your Lan party this weekend will there still be a team race on Sunday? If not what will I do? I think I shall have a brandy and off myself from sheer boredom:crying:
Do you want to be my "Friend"?:winkiss:

Lameduck

Most of us will be home by then, but whether we will have re-assembled the computers following our excursions will be another matter.:)

Not all of us live in England. Me and Aquilifer in Finland, Vobler and Gnomie in Norway, Iron Hungary, Obsolum Belgium, Seany in Ireland, DeeSlider in Wales and who did I forget? Then all regular visitors. There should be some sort of racing anyways on Sunday night (night for me =).

Seany

Enjoyable race for me.
I think I finished the race pretty much same position as I started, some where around 6th.  Couldn't keep up with the guys ahead of me, Deetz, Gnomie etc, I don't know how they where making there tyres behave :).  I had to brake earlier and come off the power on some corners more than I did during the short races to keep temps in check.  I saw John gain a bit on me a few times, but I think he was taking care of the tyres too.

Been some great racing this week very nice combo.
 congrats to the winners

I know you all live in different counties but to us here in Canada thats just a short drive away:D I thought for sure you would all be there.  I wish Dave and I could have a Lan but he's 20 hours away. And he's in the same Province:sad:

:) I've once driven to Paris from Oulu, northern Finland, and it took us 54 hours with caravan car with no other stops than changing from winter to summer tires. Sure in central europe it would feel easy to go from country to country, but at least Finland and Hungary are quite far away from UK.
