the sound card is fine. in fact, in my opinion its the best available at the moment.

however, as the mic socket is on the breakout box, the CS voice utility doesn't recognise it. Even though I can record fine with the sound recorder (and any number of recording progs) CS just isn't having it.

nope. they're not available till the end of the month :( (I'm getting them from our suppliers, blinding price)

However, I'll take this chance to review some other models. I have my eye on an 18" LG. Won the test in this months PC Pro.
