ARMA II OA Server

Attention!!!

We have discovered a issue with our server and the new addon.  But do not worry your GL, Admins and Server Wizards have come up with a cunning plan.

The issue is that if you are trying to connect to our Arma 2 server from OA it will not work because it is at the wrong patch level.

But this presents a problem if we patch the server will all the Vanilla Arma 2 players we have be able to use this server.  

So the cunning plan is as follows

We are going to decommission our ACE server and rebuild it with the server with Arma OA version 1.52

And keep the Vanilla server as is.

This will give us time to test out what works and what doesn't and should send us in a direction that we need to keep this game as fun and enjoyable as it is.

This might take sometime so please be patient.

Also please do not uninstall you copies.

Patch to the latest version that you can so for

Arma 2 Vanilla thats 1.07
Arma 2 OA thats 1.52

Our ArmA 2 Operation Arrowhead server is now in service. It is public and running on port 2306 - replacing the ACE server.

As detailed by Toby, the ArmA 2 server and the new OA server are both vanilla and standalone.

I have it. Hoping you guys will be making an evening of it soon. In the mean time the best server I have found is the PARA1, they are a good bunch, and use plenty of Teamspeak. (low ping too)
