I've just heard that VM have now applied traffic shaping to their 50meg package, is this true??

Customers with Broadband size: XXL (50Mb) ââ,¬â€œ your downstream usage excluding file sharing traffic  (see  below) remains unaffected and we'll soon be increasing your upload  speeds from 1.5Mb to 5Mb. However during peak times we'll need to slow  you back to 1.75Mb if your upload usage is particularly high.

Thats all i could fine, tut u heard differently?

So, what they're basically saying is (excuse the french):


Hey bitch, you pay X money monthly to buy our best? service, yet even if you have the best? service you'll still have to bend over during peak hours.

This is because we don't have enough bandwidth to accommodate our clients, but we still keep selling without buying more.  Also, please note that the term "unaffected" actually means affected.

Remember, we at companyX provide the best customer milking.



I bet their policy also states that "peak times" can be defined as they please and actually mean "service load".
