I've seen this done with stills photography (I've even done a couple myself.... badly) but never in film.

Reading the accompanying blog, (http://aerofilm.blogspot.com/2010/02/sandpit-short-film-by-aero-director-sam.html) this film consisted of 35,000+ stills taken on a Nikon D3. Then a tiny :rolleyes: bit of editing.

I'm amzed he actually added the depth of field effect in post processing. I assumed he used a tilt-shift lens or lensbaby for the effect. There must have been some serious time spent in front of the PC working through 35,000 images. I've never heard of the software he uses but I hope to hell there was a batch feature :blink:
