help needed- MW3 (for blunt)

Hi all,

Can anyone who has purchased this game please confirm whether it has

• in game LAN support and type (be it lobby or actual server)
• Whether thats ranked or unranked
• does it need an internet connection?
• what server support it actually has in game
• Whether its dedicated or lobby.
• whether either are ranked or unranked.

My copy doesn't appear to have made it to me today...though it was dispatched on Friday. Probably stuck somewhere in the university mail room.

got it installed, must say I'm not impressed with the game, but thats another thread!

From what i can gather, it works in the exact same way as MW2 (not having played it, but this uses a matchmaking system) - In this, I was ranking up (lvl 3 already!)

There is a section called 'private match' but i can only see it as setting the game up yourself rather than joining a server, but here there is no ranking, and all the weapons etc are available, can't see a way YET to join a dedicated server

Edit: Found it, you have to enable it in the menu (why!!!), no ranking
