We have just come out of a gaming drought especially for pc.

I don't see the point of all the developers releasing their big games all at the same time.

I know its for xmas but do they really think we have the money to buy and play them all?

I imagine most people have bought their favourites first and will leave anything thats not necessary until their price drops.

Currently got loads to play through!!!!

You don't have to play them as soon as they're released you know... :)

I tend to buy a game, play it till I'm bored & then move on, if I buy multiple games at once like at the steam xmas sales I never really play them enough to get into them to play them - fallout 3 & mass effect to name a couple, played them a few hours each & nothing more because of my attention being divided between various games. The only reason I brought BF3 straight away is knowing that we'd probably jump onto it from BC2 & I've hardly played it due to World of Tanks still having me hooked.

I've not bought a new game for ages (except Skyrim). I've actually been playing through everying I bought for buttons last year in the Xmas Steam Sale. So now I'm going to wait and grab all the new goodies they will hopefully be selling cheap this Xmas too.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I'm definitely struggling since I've been out of the country over the past two months. Won't be able to play most of these games for another week.

Heres my progress so far.

*BF3 on hold :P
*NFS:The Run complete on the main campaign
*Batman Arkham City- Complete on main campaign

My current love affair with the new releases:

BF3 : "On a break (its complicated)"
Skyrim : "In a relationship"
Batman : "Engaged"
COD MW3 : "You just don't do it for me"

Not much time to play these days due to work and RL commitments. Only the odd 30 mins here and there to play some games.

The list:

BF3: Love it, but now I cba to restart the game when it crashes.
Skyrim: Love it! I play this after BF3 crashes, so I've played it a lot. Rage quit after the main quest bugged and I was asked by support to reload to a save prior to starting the dungeon...
Batman: Is a must for me, but for now I haven't bought it, and I will be saving it for later.
COD MW3: Won't buy it. I see no point when BF3 has everything this has and much more.

...and then you have the games due to be released

SWTOR: Can't wait for this to be released. This will take up much of my game time I expect.
Mass Effect 3: Another game I just have to play. Since it is single player I will probably save it for later though.
Assassins Creed 3: Another must, but same plan as with ME3.
Diablo 3: Don't know if this should be on here yet, but it is another game you just have to buy.

This is quite a few titles being released in a fairly short time span. Though it looks like some of them were rushed out of development to be out for xmas. We've had a longer period with few and far between releases, so it is sad to see this rush of new titles all at once be ruined by the fact that they rushed them.
