So then, how did I end up here?

I got introduced to CS in 2002 by my younger brother Kayman. Played it a lot round his house when I should've been helping him re-decorate his kitchen. I got hooked then and there.

Didn't have a PC at the time, so my first attempts at playing the game were on publics, on a laptop blagged from work with a 56K dialup connection. Needless to say I died a lot...

Kayman mentioned that he and his [WAS] clan mates, enjoyed playing the game to PCS rules over on Apophis' N42 servers. I played there for a short while enjoying the PCS teamplay aspect immensely, still using the blagged laptop, and died a hell of a lot more...

He also mentioned the dMw lads were running a UK based PCS server, but I didn't check it out at the time. I laid off gaming, for various reasons, for about a year, until a random fit of boredom saw me build a home PC and get an ADSL connection.

After a while I decided to give CS and PCS another bash, but found N42 had transmogrified in to Tactical Gamer and that gaming there was no longer free. So I looked to see if dMw were still going, and going strong they were. Signed up in April this year, and have been dying a lot here ever since...

When I'm not getting moaned at by the missus for being "on that bl00dy computer again!" - I like skiing, mountain biking, and the occasional tipple (or six). Unlike my CS avatar, I take some solace in the fact that I haven't managed to die doing any of those things... :narnar:
