New/Returning

I joined this forum and got the server password about a year ago, but since I was on a 56k, was terrible at Counterstrike and was having problems downloading updates, I've never actually played on the server.

I recently got broadband and whilst I'm still terrible at Counterstrike, the other problems no longer apply.

Aside from saying hi, I'd also like to ask how easy it is to play on the server if I'm not using voice communication.

Hello mate and welcome back.

You will be able to hear the other members voice comms so you will know what is being asked of the team, but you won't be able to relay possibly important information back. That does have an impact but doesn't preclude you from playing.

So get on the server, get a decent headset and have the best possible CS experience around.

Virtually impossible. No, not really. But do yourself a favour an invest in a headset/mic. Most of us use a Plantronics Audio 90.

One other question. I've checked everywhere I can think of and can't find my SteamID. Where do I find that?
