I'm all for the destroyer, personally. Although to be honest I don't see us raising the cash.

The carrack is number one on my hit list too. I think it sounds great.

If we're looking for big capital ship gameplay, I think the Idris is more suited to the size of our org right now. It'll happily support 10-15 of us playing, plus pilots for the hornets.

The other bonus for the Idris is that if we have a surplus of players, we're still going to need them flying in support. So those people who have their own awesome ships get to use them too.

If we do raise the money, count me in. If not, it's no big deal.

As an org we'll not be looking to arrange funding for this.   Why?  It's simply too much money with too little known control and a ship that is most likely not within our operational capabilities at our org size.  

If people want to fund this then feel free to make your own informed decision, but keep in mind that it is a private deal you are making with others on this forum, with all the attendant risks.  Caveat emptor.

That makes sense to me.  I think it'll be academic anyway, $2500 is a lot to try and raise.
