As we have some many of us now playing we have to make sure we are doing all we can to make the game still fun but with a little more order.  So here are some points I would like paid attention to make the games run smoother.

1. LISTEN TO YOUR SQUAD LEADER!!! AND FOLLOW THEIR ORDERS!!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough!!!  The guy who has stepped up to lead, will have a plan or ideas which he wishes to be carried out.  The Leader has a plan, your  role is to follow it.  If you are ordered to go somewhere and do something, do it.  If you are not sure or want to suggest something else, you may.  If they listen and take on board then great, but if not please follow the orders.   It is hard work leading and there is nothing more frustrating than having a plan then watch someone wonder off with their own idea.  Admins will be on hand to help echo the leaders wishes.

2. PICKING UP DOWNED PLAYERS!!!!  THIS IS RULE NUMBER 2,3,4 and 5. This is so important because of the way we have our maps set up with long revive times, it not fun looking at the sky, and also you want people to pick you up when you are down quickly.  So you must make every effort to pick up your fallen comrades!!!

6. CHECK BEFORE YOU DO, if you are not sure if you should be taking that tank for a spin , the heli for a jolly or shooting someone who is 2.5km and hasn't seen you then stop and ask. It not hard to do and also it refers back to rule 1.

7. NO RESPAWNING!!! The way we play here is that you will be picked up if you are unlucky to be killed. There is to be no re spawning, this also includes disconnecting from the server and coming back in. So if you have decided to run off in to the distance and get clipped you will have to wait. Our map builders have spent a lot of time finding ways to make this game more realistic and how we want to play. You may respawn if your timer runs out or your stuck in the rocks/house/clipping. If unsure ask an admin.

8. Radio Silence!!! We all enjoy the banter but when your leading it can be difficult to hear or give out info. With this in mind, when playing please try and keep chat to a gentle breeze so that information from the squad for the game can be heard. But if the Squad leader calls for RADIO QUIET or RADIO SILENCE then don’t be offended, hes trying to communicate with the whole group or one member.

9. Questioning the Leader plan.  You may think the leader is off his rocker but they are the one who has stepped up to lead and it is tough job. So if you think you can do better why not step up. If not then do what your ordered.  

10.   Readying Up!!!  We are now running a new system for joining the server the admin will chose the map or load one requested.  Once we have a few people in we will start to the map page.  Players can still join here.  We will then continue on to the mission when the leader is ready, if your not when they are, you can ask but it is down to him.  This is brought in to place to make the starting of maps quicker so less time is wasted.

This needs a bump....we also need to be more considerate of pubbies when they are on. I'll be on more regularly again soon and have no doubts that with my leadership prowess and downright happy-go-lucky attitude we can get this back to where it should be.

Please read the above and memorise parts 1 & 2. There will be tests, like the one you just failed that brought you here from a clearly unrelated post ya mugs.

With Arma 3 out I thought it was time just to hammer home some old posts as they are still useful have a read :)

Bump. Read the first post people then read it again ... then read this ....

We've had a few occasions recently where players are down and are unintentionally overlooked. This can happen for lots of reasons but quite often it's because either no one knows they're down or because it was thought that they were being assisted by another player. Easy to fix.

When you're killed say "I'm down" and repeat every 30 seconds until help arrives.

When you're reviving someone say "Reviving" followed by the player's name.

When you've been revived say "I'm up".
