Really like the look of that.

Shame I'm not going to be able to sample it for two weeks

Checking it out now, have already seen the two new ships out in space...

The best bit, is all of it is independent of friends lists. You can just say "who wants to wing up?" and go trading, bounty hunting, doing missions - everything! You can see the other Wingmates location, target and health. Even interdiction status!

I sprung for a Fer-del-lance last night and the major con is it is useless for missions. Zero cargo space. But as a super-fast killing machine, it's the dogs doo-dahs!

Morning from Vegas folks. So any more 1.2 feedback? I've not even had a chance to see YouTube yet but wow 102 mill for the FDL. What's the Corvette gonna be! I think the price is a little high!

Sounds like my sort of ship.

I have not yet seen enough to offer much feedback, but the small interface changes I have noticed all seem to be in the right direction.

Oh, and irritatingly, I noticed that Slaves are now illegal cargo - they were not before the update. So, I got scanned before the update, no fine, and after the update, 100k fine...

This week's dev update has this little tit-bit:-

Quote from: Michael BrookesIn a minor update released before the end of the week we’ll reduce the  price of non-trade ships and abolish the way fuel costs are scaled by  ship type. What’s more, some of the smaller ships, like the Sidewinder  will gain a powerful new advantage as their reduced profile makes them  more effective for smuggling. These are minor changes but ones that  dramatically increase the importance and viability of craft less suited  to trading.

I am interested in what they mean by "more effective for smuggling"... much less likely to be scanned?
