well after hours of searching you may not have found very much in the way of aircraft or scenery to stimulate you

well look no more, this site has it all, or leat it tells you where it is

At the moment I cant guarentee that anything in the link above will work with fsx steam edition, please take caution

As a Norwegian this is the best I have seen.

I'm going home to buy this as we speak!

Stunning!
My home town Ã...lesund got extra polish. The video down on the page starts above my house!

Looks like I have to use FSX or even Prepar3d in the near future!

I have FTX Global Base too and was thinking of adding OpenLC EU and Global Vector before looking for more addons.   I think the coverage is better for my $ too with those, but then the Norway one did look très beau!

Active Sky Next

If you are using Active Sky Next as your weather engine, there is now a FSX:SE Open Beta Update

There is another Add On I wan to mention and that is
Steves DX10 Fixer. This is a program that enhances FSX's DX10 preview and also makes it possible to use older planes in DX10.
Here is a short intro : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xk-_5KM0-mI

It is worth every penny. On planes that are DX10 aware you get deep, dark and well defined cockpit shadows. It is beautiful.

As I understand this guy started by making a Freeware version, I was using that. But the current payware version is much, much more capable than the freeware shaders. If you are going DX10 then use this from the start. It will save you lots of time and grey hairs. https://stevesfsxanalysis.wordpress.com/

I just installed LFSW and LFQF. Very happy with the result. Not payware, but enhances both airports.

Edit, ment to say, I have global and eu lc intalled too.
