Although if you stopped at that point, the you not only missed 25 minutes of Chris having the same PC problems that we have every day, but also the planetary landing demo (which I hope you've now caught up on).

i neever seen a guy look so confused in what he was doing, its like you just let your gramp play star citizen and then left him to it.

I dont mind everyday computer problems, thats fine. But when it was working he was struggling with basic stuff that is already ingame and he of all people should know how they work. It was like he loaded the game for the first time and didnt know what to do, where to go, what happens when you do this or that, i dont know, I just dont get it.

Nah, it was just controller setup issues. He was alright with the game once he got a controller he's used to (he prefers the XBOX controller) but it did seem like the PC had not been set up with him in mind...and then it crashed, of course (like it often does for the rest of us).

Basically this was your typical, hide eyes behind hands, live tech demo.

What about inability to use chat window or being unable to spawn a ship he wanted and he didnt know why it doesnt work. Or why one console didnt react so he just went to the next one. Hope he plays the game sometimes

Not sure about the chat window (I thought he used it OK - I'll have to re-watch it), but those other things are all known bugs, and I've encountered them myself quite a few times.

But, yeah, it did come across as though he hadn't a clue as to what he was doing - very embarrassing for him. And that probably didn't help, either - it's easy to get flustered and then actually forget things when put on the spot like that.

Sure

I dont mind bugs and stuff like that. But he was really surprised and baffled that it doesnt work, not acting like yeah i know about this

That is what surprised me.

For me it was his inability to understand that when he was trying to order his Connie it was saying all pads a full. He didn't realise that only pads 9 and 10 could hold a Connie. He started looking at all the other pads saying "but there empty, why can't I order my ship" This is something you learn on day one of trying the game.

With the joystick and PC issues it started to look very awkward.

First of the Constellation Aquila is a beautiful ship and i cant wait to go exploring in her, she so big and beautiful is nice to have this in the middle of my hanger. I am thinking of upgrading some of the ships i got currently, is there aa forum better suited for me to talk about this ?
