Tekkit MOD for the minecraft server

So after a few weeks of regular play on the server, it has been asked whether or not the TEKKIT mod could be applied. I have spoke to Oldie about what would be needed, and the only stumbling block we can come up with is that the server would be reset, so any builds from the last 3 weeks would be lost.

Although as you were all playing in creative.....

so my question is everyone who has been playing on the server recently happy with this?

This will require a client side mod as well, but most of the new players are aware of this

Only really been on for the last few days after a brief hiatus from mincerafting so I'm happy with whatever you want to try. It's always good to drum up more interest. Looking forward to seeing what else we can do with Tekkit. When are you thinking about resetting? I'm in the middle of a small project that I'm quite enjoying working on but don't mind losing when you're ready, it'd just be nice to prepare myself before logging in if possible

possibly sometime on the next few days, i was thinking of ways to let people build back what they have lost, hopefully ill have a plan in a couple of days with regard to that, and by then hopefully the server with be up as well

Well if I get cracking with it tomorrow I should be finished enough for personal satisfaction.. Like I say, don't mind losing everything. From what I've seem some people have started on some pretty big plans though. If the person with the giant corner (or anybody else) needs a hand re-laying floors etc give me a shout and I'm happy to muck in if it comes to manually rebuilding. It seems that in creative mode the only thing to lose is time as long as there are detailed screenshots, coming out of survival removes the 'luck factor' entirely

I run a minecraft server from home with the Infinity modpack on it. How different is the tekkit pack?

I'm playing Overwatch alot right now but I could do with a change of pace now and again so could be interesting in joining in with this.
