Well have you banned the auto sniper or not is todays question.

You convientently banned whilst midway through a round last night.

Is it still banned??

I think Oldone was just testing the amx mod capability of weapon restrictios
it was just on that map.
well i think thats what he said when he joind our team the following map (could be wrong as id had a drink

)

I see no announcement about it.

He made a statement that it was banned on Meathook I think but had not done it on Homer.

Clarification is all that is needed.

I'll make sure that the ban is removed asap Slowhand.

There will be a full and proper debate about *any* weapon restrictions and I accept that I was out of line doing it last night. :oops:

at the moment i am playing about with the mod quite a bit seeing what can / cant be done.......

just to check .....if i run the exec std.cfg will it put ALL things back to normal or is there anything i need to look out for ?

Nope.

You will need to run server.cfg (this runs after every map change anyway).

We seriously need to think about a rule for the autosniper. Tonight it was used that much it seriously effected the flow of the game. On dust2 3 of 7 CTs had auto snipers and one had scout. The CTs were leading by 5 rounds and had an extra guy. On the next map (cbble) there were 2 autosnipers on T with 4 players ...

The weapon is mighty powerful with that huge clip and when 2 spam away at the same spot it very hard to get through.

With this AMX mod is it possible to restrict 1 autosniper to each team?

I have updated the AWM rule to include the auto-sniper. :et's see how the rule change affects gameplay, monitor and feedback here please. We will review this rule change at the end of themonth to see where we go from there.
