Friday Morning Swim Meet - bring your trunks (dress code applies)

Friday morning is going to need a little something to clear the head and to relax those aching muscles after all that activity you'll be doing on Thursday night.   So, we're taking over the pool and holding the first dMw Swim Meet at 9.30am on Friday morning.

Competitions will include but are not restricted to:

• The 2 length sprint
• Surf's Up wave contest (a favourite amongst the blue rinse brigade usually in the pool at 9.30am)
• The 'How many dMw members can you fit into a Jacuzzi' logistics challenge
• Submariner Endurance Race (how far can you swim underwater on a single breath?)
• And the always popular and pool-clearing 'Pin the donkey on the Norwegian tail' target practice.

A turkish and swedish sauna will be available to soothe any minor injuries and a fully trained medical staff will be hungover and in the bar (unless Ben joins us too).

I must be the only person in DMW (and correct me if i'm wrong) who can officially say i have seen combat, and have had  a 1000yd ( or 4 inch (bottom of a pint glass)) stare on occasion...

I'm not much into swimming so likely I will be as described, hungover in the bar. My scrub nurse will be a certain GhostMjr, and yes I will be providing him with the required (skimpy) uniform.
