"Part man, Part Machine, All American!"

"It's the future, 2007 and the world has been destroyed by nuclear war!"

The character "Rex Power Colt" is voiced by Michael Biehn.

What "Duke Nuke'em Forever" should have been...

£11.99 on Steam and you don't need the original Far Cry 3 - this is stand-alone game.

It got a bit of a mixed review from RPS. I'm inclined to wait until it's in the inevitable Steam sale.

I'm with Tut on this one. The game looks good, but I've got so many games I don't play I only tend to pick anything short of "I can't wait another day for that" games up in sales (Hitman Absolution was £5 the other day on greenman gaming), waiting for the new tomb raider to do the same.

Steam sales are a great for gamers but it seems the developers are a big fan too Indie game sales figures. Same goes for humble bundle games too. Selling for less can make them a whole load more money.
Juggling Hard Disks over concrete floors ends in tears 5% of the time.

looks like an old arnie trailer from the 80's lol...the voice is so familer though for the narrator

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

[
quote]The result is odd. A good game, wallpapered with what should have been a festivity of fun, but instead is a dreary commentary no more witty than pub bores misremembering the existence of old adverts and then loudly laughing at themselves. And then explaining the jokes to each other in case they didn’t get it.[/quote]

The new tomb raider is 50% off right now on steam

its all very tongue in cheek style advertising, just think of duke nukem in the late 80`s and your in the same mindset.. still looks a bit fun to play, but i`m also holding off for the steam sale :P

anyone seen Mars: war logs game, looks "interesting" but some of the reviews say its a bit mad, and like using a chainsaw to open a can of coke...

I don't think £11.99 is unreasonable for a playable game in a time when EA are pushing broken games that don't even play for £65!

It is what it says on the tin. Cheap and cheerful retro gaming on a budget. With dinosaurs. With frickin' lasers!!

Thread resuscitation!

for the few people that don't own this, it's currently free on ubisofts game client jobbie - https://club.ubisoft.com/en-GB/ubi30

dunno how much longer for as it's listed as Novembers freebie.
