Less matches?

I have been watching the availability page more closely lately and there are not that many that are avail. Most matches lately have been a mix of ghost and zombies and seldomly a full squad of either.

Charlie Company
This is granted to Bravo Company members who want to represent dMw in competitive matchplay. Applicants must demonstrate that they have working buyscripts and voicecomms. They must also be available for at least one clan match per week.

As of now we have about 10 players that meet those requirements.

My suggestion is that we reduce the matches played to 2 per week e.g. Thursday and Sunday with the best attendance. I also think that Delta should be formed to wake some out of the slumber but also giving those who are frequently there for the clan a better chance of a won match.

I see no point in arranging 4 matches per week when only about 10 players are interested in playing.

My appologies on that as i don't put myself as available for matches but started doing it last night only to lose my temper and withdraw from the match  

I will try and make myself more available ...but my time is spent looking for another job atm

I think it's probably time to poll the membership again re-availability.

The questions should along the lines of:

1. Are you available for matches at least once per week?
2. What days are best for you?
3. How many matches a week would you ideally like to play?
4. Are you prepared to act as a squad leader during a match?

etc

When the replies are in we can look at the results and decide how to structure future fixtures.

A couple of things to remember:

1. We will always be the victim of people's change in circumstances which inevitably results in churn.
2. We should start getting our first new Charlie member applications soon.
3. Things are never as bad as you think.

Think it is in order to bump this one with all teh discussion regarding the server not being full.

My suggestion is:

Thursday and Sunday on ED
Tuesday on UKCSL

We could test it for one week or two and see if attendence goes up on the server.
