Why does the "mark all post as read" button (on front page of forum in left column and at bottom in topic) not work for some people?  Since we changed over to this style it's never worked for me.

It's nothing to do with cookies either, as I've tried this in every conceivable combination.
If I wanted you to understand I would have explained it better

It's a known bug.  <_<

I'm keeping my eye on the IPB site as version 2 of this product is nearly complete. As well as introducing lots of useful new features it will, hopefully, cure the problem.

It does seem to work if you close the browser windows after clicking it. If you dont and navigate away from the site and then come back later it will show all the messages as unread rather than hiding them.

Only noticed this in the last few days.
