Here are some tips for players new to playing siege in match conditions.

CT:

1. Rush from spawn keeping to the right hand side when taking the turn. If you are slow away or you do not keep right you will be AWPed from the garage area.
2. If you haven't got a buy script  - forget it (see 1).
3. Keep the Ts in the garage at all costs. If they break out you will be picked off.
4. Leading CT will meet the leading T (assuming a T rush) at the last box on the right hand side before the garage entrance. Make sure you have your best weapon out slightly before reaching this point. An HE thrown to the back of the box just before pulling your rifle will also deter future rushes. A FB to the garage ramp before the HE is thrown will deter the following pack. If no enemy is encountered then leading and second placed CT should climb the last box to pick off any Ts lurking on the ramp. One of these two CTs should let the rest of the team know when this area is clear. Only then should they approach the garage entrance.
5. When the CTs hold the ramp, one CT should peel off and watch the sewer exit. DO NOT ENTER THE SEWER. If the Ts are rushing out through the sewer you will more than likely hear them long before they operate the door giving you time to radio the rest of your team.
8. One CT should make some early noise or, if you're feeling particularly brave, show yourself briefly then retreat up the ramp to join the rest of the team. This should attract a hail of (wasted) HE.
7.  Use FBs and smoke to the garage area to work your way into the garage. Try to work together to pick off the defenders. Be patient. If you have a sniper on the team do not block him. The sniper should stay upright and everyone else should crouch. You will need the luck of the Irish to get in
8. Save your HEs till last. Hopefully you will have wounded some Ts with gunfire making the late HE a deadly weapon.
9. Watch out for the sneaky T. Common hiding places are:
  a. Behind the crate at the top of the ramp.
  b. Behind the crates at the bottom left of the ramp (CTs on box can look for this).
  c. Behind any of the crates in the garage entrance tunnel. Pay particular attention to the possibility of a T being behind the crates on the left as you look right into the tunnel.
  d. Behind the right hand corner as you enter the garage proper.
  e. Against the jeep wheels (my favourite).
  f. In the sewer entrance.
  g. In the vent exit.
  h. Behind the crates on the right back wall (sniper).
  i. Behind the 'dumper' back left (sniper)
  j. Standing on the hostages.
  k. Crouching on the glass partition in the inner area.
10. If you have all the hostages in tow and are faced with at least one remaining T then he is almost certainly on the roof overlooking the garage exit waiting to pick you off. If you are on your own then keep to the right hand side when exiting to lessen the angle he has on you.

T:

1. Do not rush out of the garage.
2. One person watches (and listens) the sewers.
3. Do not throw HEs early.
4. If the CTs are good snipers then let them come to you.
5. Be aware of the clock. The round is yours if it times out. Run away from danger if you are the last T with little time left and an army of CTs baying for blood.
6. Be aware of the sneaky T places mentioned above.

That'll do for now.
