I am a bit worried

Many months ago we were all concerned that the servers were not very busy and that people were not playing CS. We had a long discussion about it and a lot of effort was put in to expand our community. I am concerned that this is now being undermined as tonight the CS servers are all empty, I have seen a few people drop in and out of them but only 1 at a time; they stay for 5 mins then leave when no-one else joins. At present I have to work and would love to play some CS but all i can spare the time for is the odd dive onto the forums or to monitor the servers for a couple of mins in case an admin is needed. The empty server situation has been going on for a few weeks now and is getting progressively worse from where I sit.

The cause of this seems to be CS:CZ. There are 12 people on it (10 dmw and 2 other guys). There was concern the last time that LFS might have been taking regulars away from CS. The concern now is that many people are looking for a game of CS and are leaving without finding anyone on the CS server. Any new people signing up will think we are a dead or inactive group. I honestly believe this to be a risk to our community.

I throw the door open for comment....

I tend to agree.

I'm thinkin' on it some more.

For me personally ATM im enjoying CZ more than CS, I know that it is basically the same game but it just feels better/nicer.

Also tonight steam is being a pain so this may account for the lack of people.

Also also don't forget we had this same problem last year and the year before that......the sun does things to people.. it makes them want to sit in the garden and drink or go to the pub and sit outside. :D

I think BBs right. Some regulars without CZ are idling on the server and leaving.
I think it's nice to get to grips with CZ but it lags like hell and I do enjoy the clean cut smoothness of CS.
I'll be sticking with CS whenever I can for the time being.
