Who can explain me why my steam gets stuck.
If i want to start up steam it says that it does not know my password.
When i then remove the file Clientregistry.blob then steam does an update and it all workes for sometime.

This has happend to me for a fiew times now. :angry:  :angry:  :angry:

But you can try a complete reinstall of steam.

I don't think he has to reinstall everything Ice. He doesn't have much on his computer and he doesn't change alot on it. It should work.

i don't had it about a fromat with a new windows on it :blink:

I only said a complete new install of steam.


steam and windows look much the same but still are different

I can read and saw Steam but he doesn't do a thing with it so why should he reinstall, he only has CS and CS:CZ.

that is your opinion not mine.

But what do you do if a prog works fine but then is giving probs over and over again. But you stil wanna use it. Then you reinstall it and see if that works.

Or you can go and play with a prog that isn't working...........

I do option 1 because you have nothing to loose... or is that 15 min a big loss?

I dumbt the blub file and then started to update steam, now it workes but my config is cone, so i have reset everything. But i still don't know what happent.
My outlook express is also not working vine. I already have scaned for vireses but did not detect enything.

It might not be a virus but something worse. I've reinstalled ad-aware and found 20 spywarethings.

And if I'm correct, I've copied you configssettingsfile somewhere on your computer for you to back it up.

although reinstalling steam works leaving it for a few days seems to work too!

I have installed one, found 4 but not with ad ware bud with spy killer.
have removed them, hope things will stay good
