You may be aware that Dead Men Talking uses Invision Power Board as it's forum software. We are currently using v1.3 but version 2 is nearing completion and I intend to move across to this version when it's available.

If you'd like to see the some of the added features v2 will offer then take a look here.

Upgrading from 1.3 to 2.0.0

There is currently no upgrade path from 1.3 to 2.0.0. We plan on writing the upgrade script for around PDR 3 (Beta 3). Until then please don't try and import a 1.3 database into 2.0 - it simply won't work.

I'm delighted to see it doesn't allow for text speak. All posts not containing the requisite number of vowels will be autodeleted. A much needed upgrade :ph34r:

Nope. It means though that I can block any posts from e.g. marsvolta  :devil:

No. We can selectively decide who's posts get corrupted and can keep the rest . Sorry mars :devil:

Or to be more truthful I believe there is an upgrade function that allows you to upgrade the database and migrates everything across although OB is te expert

Version 2.0 has been released.  

I will be looking into upgrading our forum to this version in the next couple of days.
