RCON Password

I am getting "Bad RCON" warnings from HLSW using the current RCON password as per OBs post of 8 Jan

Has PW changed?

I managed to post the new RCON password in the SL's forum instead of the admins.  :blush:

I cannot RCON the CS:Source server even from within game (typing rcon_password ****** just gets me " cannot connect to and then gives the server IP.

Can anyone else and before you all ask no I didn't type 6 stars for the password  :ph34r:

As we have 3 servers on same IP has CS:S server been given differnet rconport?

Sussed it.

RCON for Source servers requires the TCP port opened on the firewall as well as the UDP one. Works in HLSW now

NB If HLSW gives a logaddress timeout error dialog when you try to get the log from the server - just ignore it. Seemingly there is a bug in how HLSW detects the log and you can in fact see the log even though it reports you can't  :narnar:
