Increase FPS

Iam currently  using a GeForce MX440 in a 4x agp motherboard, would i get a noticeable increase in FPS if i used an 8x agp motherboard?? or should i buy a new card for the 8x agp mobo? If the latter is the cure what card should i go for under £100, i was looking at a Radeon 9600xt 256mb.

For the money you'd be better off saving £15 and getting a 9700Pro.

Read this.  It will give you a good guide as the bang you get for your bucks.

Likewise, if your budget can go up a fraction (£20) then there are other cards which would beat both the 9600XT and 9700Pro by some way.,

Id love to go for one of those x800xt PE, but for the price of one you can build a whole freekin computer!!!

I am not sure if norm still has his ati 9800 for sale but if he has i think he wanted around £100. Look on ebay aswell to find it at least £30-50 cheaper than the uk
