volare, I always liked that...but going forward.

it had a bridge as one target and a fair bit of hilly green. Background music was 'Hijack - the terrorist group '

you could get off the bridge down the ladders each side, had cars etc.

Reminds me, we should bring back roadhouse. I assume CZ has this stuff.

I don't think we should kill the mapvote on public servers as this will prevent some people from joining the community as they will think we limit certain maps. Remember we all know we are part of a tactical community who prefer a certain range of maps due to our defense of the objective, but to get new memberes to join i feel they should be introduced to it in stages.

1. join our servers
2. get a good understanding of the community rules and join alpha
3. Join bravo after a few weeks/ months of getting use to our rules.
4. Then joining the community after weeks of analysis and development

We must maintain an active flow from 1-4 so we can gain new members and not therefore turn them away before they have even tried our tactical way of thinking which they may not have been introduced to. of course some will reject our way of thinking but we must as i saw Oldbloke on Razer doing use a method of showing them our rules and moving on from there. Not excluding what we would like first!

T'was a sad day when Volare was removed.   :(

Just had to love the music, the fantastic start as CT.  Unfortunately let down by the bombsite inside the caves I feel.

I like the map vote. Very often it feels like we get stuck in some inferno/aztec/dust2/office/italy rut. It's nice to see other maps being offered - that way if people ever fancy a change (and lord knows I do) we can play something else.

Also, bring back volare.

ANother map question.

1.
Urban, hostages inside an office, has ground floor double doors, into a room with a surrounding balcony, hostages are upstairs.

There is a vent into the upstairs from outside. At other end of the building there is a choke point of the stairs to the first floor balcony where the hossies are, long run from spawn for the CT's. Heavily biased to the T's but good for a planned assault.

2. I liked CS_Robbery, in the bank, 3 entry points into the main room with the cashier tilss.

3. One more, outside in a town with two trucks as bomb points, looks like Amsterdam, had am Amstel sign and an arcade.

They play number 3 sometimes on BoD.
There's an arcadehall on the right of Tspawn and when T's go right there;s a church and some cafes and a helicopter shouting: Stop police.
It's a nice map but laggy for some. I liked it though.
