Over-priced, over-rated, pretentious pizza parlours.

If you've ever been to one of the 'Prezzo' franchises you'll know what I mean.

We have a Prezzo restaurant close to where we live. It is wonderfully furnished and decorated and has a genuine Italian feel to the place. The menu has some mouthwatering descriptions of Italian dishes which, when ordered, turn out to be a child's portion of pasta topped with a non-descript sauce served on a rediculously large plate. And they have the cheek to charge £12 for it. IT'S PASTA FFS  :ranting: The pizzas are crap too.

As for Frankie and Benny's ... they're crap too.  <_<

And Pizza Hut! Anywhere where a burnt pizza for two, a bowl of salad, and a bottle of warm white wine comes to £25 is horrendous.

When I asked them to chill the wine, the manager replied that they didn't serve the bottles of wine chilled, only the glasses of wine.  :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting:

PIZZA HUT SUCK.
Pizza quality is appalling, very greasy.  Especially the Meat Feaces (they call it Meat Feast).
Kidz portions are pitiful.
I wrote a letter of complaint to their head office last year about the Carlisle branch, and they didn't even know it existed (hope it no longer does).
Avoid Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC.

On topic, the Italian Restaurants in my area aint that bad, aint too pricey and food is good.

Pizza express is fantastic, we go regularly all over the uk, St Andrews, Richmond, Derby, Nottingham, Hull... not too expensive either - I recommend the Apollo Ad Astra!  :)

Sounds to me like what you mean is "Italian restauraunt chains are crap" OB.

F'rexample when I lived in Edinburgh you couldn't keep me away from Prego. Awesome food, good staff, swell atmosphere (it's very clearly a converted residential property, which makes it feel very "homey").
