i cant beleive you said the "W" word, neg on the geezer and go for pipex or bt both have good bandwidth which = good ping

Already had Pipex - a bit annoyed by the fact that they have no procedures in place to simply transfer my account to a new line :blink:  I have to cancel my old contract and apply again at my new number.

Prodigy looks good though - 24.99 for a 2mb line with a 30 gb cap

I've been using Force9 for the past few years now. They're the same company as Plusnet. Transferring my old account to my new house was relatively pain-free, and I have a 1mb connection (but only because i'm far enough from the exchange that it won't go to 1.5 or 2) without any cap on downloads. If you totally rape your connection downloading from peer to peer networks and such they will limit you lower, but i've never had any problems. Their website says £21.99 for a 'Premier'' 2mb connection, but I can't find anything saying whether that is capped or not.
