nevermind the "5/6 a week attendance" there are some people not even doing 2/3, and havent been consistently for the past 2-3 months!

You're right, the Officers have been lenient on this until recently, but I think if you looked at the attendance stats you would be surprised at how few people have actually failed the 2/3 requirement.  However, the Officers recently drafted a text which was sent by Vargen (I believe) to those members who failed the attendance requirement.  The underlying message was clear, in that we would expect attendance to increase and to talk to us re specific problems, so this aspect should improve either through better attendance from the current membership, or through better attendance of new Guardians following a loss of rank for the existing member.  This then evolved into this discussion and poll as we thought it sensible to seek the view of the membership as to the way forward before taking definitive action.

Personally, right now I am at the 'wait and see' stage.  I believe that another fortnight will resolve matters.  If at this stage they do not then I would be forced to vote for an alternative option.

That is why i voted to get some more guardian members in, the ammount of ppl failing to make the raid requirement is pritty low (less then 5), and thier not far off, most members actualy turn up (way) more then required. This sujests that the current system just does not have enough members in it to work for us.

Sry if i may bud in! But are new Guardianmembers a good solution? If we then get like say 7 Guardian rogues online applying for a raid and we just take in 5, arent we back at square 1 then?  ppl will get angry because they cant join even though they are guardians, and havent we been thrue that before.

Although I must admit that we are short of RG1 ppl online for our raids and need to get the attendance up. It seems that we are going to get the same problem that we had before we downed Razor!

Just a dwarfs reflection

P.S If U should schedual a raid to AQ40 instead of MC or something i can bet the attendance will skyrocket;) ppl are bored i think!

.....not after last night's Nefarian exploits.  Damn fine show, we got into Phase 2 pretty consistently and it is edging ever closeer to the point where Nefarian goes down.  I'll just need to blow another wodge of cahs on pots for the next run at him.

And thanks Luna for the pots you gave me! :D  It would be real helpful if everyone could go get a good supply of pots for the next run.  Damnit I want Nefarian down before I have to go into therapy......... :norty:

i think i voted for the wrong option lol. im a rg2 member but would like to express my opinions :) wot i think u guys shud do is recruit players for the class who has been failing to show up consistantly and demote the person failing to come...they failed to meet the raid requirements for their rank therefore they deserve to be removed from guardian. that way there will not be a RG3 nor a fight for the raid spot cos theres still the same number of guardians for their class. NUFF SAID!

I agree with U TL Last nights Raid was great!  :D

And yea Pots are needed. And I think drank quite alot to because i have a headache today!  :roflmao:

last BWL raid was crap, yeeeeh we got into phase 2, but yet even with a lot of ppl up we failed to even get the dragon semi under control......  we should have killed him weeks ago. We have actualy dropped from number 3 or so in raid progress down to 8th spot.

And for ppl that voted option 2 / 3 here is something to think about: we didnt get a full RG1 raid since mid april.

I beg to differ Bastet.  Afaik, we have never "controlled" phase one as good as we did on Tuesday.  And that I say is a major improvement.  Did you expect us to take down Nefarian on the first try where we survived phase one with more than 35 people?

I have to agree.  I thought out progress at BWL the other night was good.  We had, in general. a good BWL week.  We cleared up to and icluding Chromaggus on the first night and had a good night on Nefarian.  it may not have been the result we wanted, but it was most defintely good progress.

Like Bastet I am frustrated by our lack of progress (irrespective of prgress of other Guilds) which has mainly been hampered by poor attendance.  But I am increasingly hopeful of good progress as our attendance starts to improve again and as commitment to the raids leads to better performance and ultimately that first Nefarian kill.

i mean what i say and say what i mean, so i dont quite like getting passed by all those reject guilds, and allthough we been unlucky w/ add colors we should be further along with the fight then we currently are.

Other then that, i blame canada

Knabbel

RG2 members let this be a lesson for us as we seem to lack of some attendance from some classes to....... that will be punished @ BWL.

Option 3: Do nothing, now that exams are over it will pick up again! has won, the officers will give members another week, at that time member turn up will be reevaluated, if its still found in sufficient at that time the officers will be forced to take action, which you may or may not like.
