Can't connect

i usually have problems connecting...it goes through all the server text, gets to the last bit (Server # xxx) and then waits for a while until 'Connection to server timed out' comes up. i type retry and within a minute i'm in.

But today, it gets as far as the Server # bit, but doesn't come up with the 'timed out', meaning i can't connect at all.  :cry:

Anyone else had this problem? Anyone got any suggestions? Help!  

(i've changed none of the settings since i last played, btw.)

Smite can't get on MH either. i've tried a couple of other servers and had the same thing, so maybe it's a WON problem or something (that "or something" being the technical term, you understand...)

This normally happens immediately after Valve have released an update to the anti-cheat module.

The server updates itself but requires a restart to allow players in.  :?

Is there a scheduled reboot due soon, or do i have to ring my friend at Southern Electricity and get him to briefly kill all power to the South East?  :twisted:

Done.  Southern Electricity won't affect Manchester Uni much, what with their generators and everything, by give it a shot if you want...

A tactical nuke strike would shut it down, but starting it up again could be a problem
