That debate has been going on a bit here in holland too, but i agree w/ sheepy, they are only used for money making now, and not for promotion of road safety, as they could have been by placing them near schools/hospitals and other more sensitive locations then the roadside on some backwater road.

not only that, you don't always see a flash (more and more are becomming Digital and those don't flash) so 6 weeks later you get a ticket and only at that point you know you have been speeding. (talking about 5-10 km/h if ur over that you probly know you are speeding, unless ur driving 80 at a 50 road and you didn't knew)
