The New RG2

TL, this has nothing to do with a small group leaving. As you say so often: Get your facts straight! We have been loosing members a lot lately and the last runs has clearly showed that we need to get the team work back into RG2.

I do not see this as a step back. This is a step in the right direction!

Id rather have a RG2 raid to ZG and AQ20 instead of a mixed raid with soldiers and alts. Im sure that Commanders will allow RG2 raids to ZG/AQ20 for a couple of weeks well knowing our situation

Well as we did raid on Monday I suggest we could easaly do 2 runs.... AQ or ZG..

But there have to be people that are willing to sign up. no signup no raid..

I do not care to extend this into a big argument as it is largely irrelevant, you are where you are, but I do not recall hearing the "drop BWL for AQ20/ZG" shouts before the group left. Feel free to point me at the forum post if I missed it.

RG2 does indeed need to take stock. Individual people leaving will always happen, but when a group leaves (for valid reasons in their mind) then it is always going to have a more substantial impact. I think the decision to focus on MC is a sensible one - it will only take a few weeks to gear up again and to solidify the performance of the team. If RG2 members in need of better gear supplement RG2 runs by joining the Commanders in their ZG & AQ20 runs then the gear up process will be even quicker. The expectation for RG2 should still be a full MC clearance though.

We started doing MC on 24th of March (yhea I know I have something with calendar dates), we killed the first 3 bosses and up, and it took around 4 months to get a good geared up RG2. This is how it went.

The new situation will be. Not all 40 members do need MC loot (me for instance). We will kill more then 3 bosses (more kills more loot) in the beginning (even full clearance is there). So we will be geared up much faster then 4 months. I think a couple of weeks as a lot of people do need loot from MC but also have got alread there bit from there.

My only question is, what do we do on tuesday when we have a full clearance on thursday? OFC it will be Onxyia but then?

You are correct is has not been discussed in an open forum until the Italians left. But believe me there has been a lot of thinking going on. It was just the last drop.

But it is not up to me to decide wether we are going to do 20 man runs or not. I just know that id like to see RG2 going to 20man raids as a whole group. This will make sure that we only supply RG2 people with loot and it will help the team play greatly.

Just to state the obvious as several has in here.

I like several of others in RG2 dont need much in MC. I need only those damn tran leggins that really dont wanne drop for us priests.

So when we are raiding mc on a regular basis we are gonna fill up equipment on peeps that mostly are not all green but have a combination of blues and epixx. Obvious matemathics are that we dont need that many runs to fill up our group to a good one for bwl again.

Our focus are to get peeps with good attendance.

Btw RG1, Danu, Righteus and all guilds have peeps leaving for different reasons. So will we see in rg2. we just have to minimise the loss.

Hope marshals stay and update our defenders list so we know what to work on.

Main problem in RG2 is atm our teamwork with each other - removing focus from BWL to MC and ZG/AQ20 will boost this alot, and will gear up the new ppl. This is a important step in the right direction, to get RG2 back where we belong

If you do need an extra pally on a Thursday night, let me know; though I can't promise I'll be able to attend as I'm dedicating more time to my degree.

I imagine any recent 'wave' (prob quite an exageration) of departures is due to the shift of days and also one or two peeps prob more ****ed off at not getting a 3rd raid day rather than so called loot-whoring (hence moving to Righteous and Danu (if you're masochistic I suppose)).

Good luck though sorting out new members, hope you find some stable raiders rather than tourists. Oh and don't forget it takes for bl**dy ever for some items to drops rofl :roflmao:.

Btw, everyone can apply to ZG and AQ20 open raids, just sign in site for the raid and you will be granted a spot there.
