The thing is, enemies don't usually think they're being watched, and even though they can detected, the enemy doesn't usually know they're there, so they're not trying to detect them, giving you an advantage. ^^

Plus, you really want to be placing your shade somewhere like a hill overlooking the enemy town. This makes it harder for them to detect you, as they can't see up hills ^^.

And yes, it is much harder to see up hills, than down them.
I did have some good samples to show, but Lost everything. I'll try getting some good screenies/play backs of me, or someone else on WC3, and see what happens.
