Well, me & Eternal play Warcraft 3 RoC regularly together on battle.net, anybody else still play online with it?
Currently looking forward to getting TFT again ^^. (My copy dissapeared somewhere a long while back. Can't find it anywhere o.0).

Also, what's your favourite race? And do you have any cool replays of online battles you'd like to show?

Hokí - Dwarf Marksmanship Hunter.
Shather - Rogue Twink.

Gandalf

I've got both, but not actually played online with them. The SP story is so indepth anyway. I'll have to get them re-installed again and try out the MP side :)

It's good fun, believe me ^^. Kinda annoying when you first try it out though... everyone is just so good o.0.

And I love the smiley on your signature, Gandalf :D.

TeaLeaf

I only just bought WC3 and The Frozen Throne expansion so I'm just getting into them.  Not played it online yet as I'm still learning how to control groups better.

Bastet

Well, the single player campains are well worth the effort of playing, since WOW builds on that story, will help you figure out the back story a bit more :D

Aye, the campaign is pretty good ^^. Don't use any cheats though. Especially no the one that completes the level for you. If you use that, you don't see the ending clip o.0.

Good fun, good for filling you in on backstory, and good practice ^^.

Tip: Whatever race you are, build 2 troop producers of the same type! It speeds it up a fair amount ^^.

Well, Tech, we play together, so there isn't really any point in us both making 2 production buildings. I am of course talking about in the early stage of the game/level. ( I just build lots'a diffrent unit buildings, as you might have noticed. )

the way to do it is build your Hero place, ( I can't be bothered to recall the name (s) Altar of storms/Altar of Darkness/Altar of Eldars/Altar of Kings. There we go. )
then build a unit building, crypt/Barracks/Ancient of war/And the Orc barracks, thingy...

then build a building the incresses your maximum unit capability, Ziggurat/Moon well/Burrow/Farm, then when you have enough gold and wood,  build another one, at the same time, build a Hero, now, Heroes are tricky, it depends on your style of play, as you play through the Campaign you'll probaly develope your own taste.
Now, all you have to do, is find out what sort of units your going to use, this is even harder thatn chosing your Hero.
but, as you may/may not be a beginner you may/may not want me to suggest what sort of units to use, but i'd go for big strong land units, or just lots of weak(er) ones, now go creeping with your hero and kill those creeps!
( Aim for the green ones first, then may be another green one, then maybe go for a yellow one. There should be an option somewhere to enable the green/yellow/red creeps camps on your mini map, or maybe it's just in a patch.

Well, I think that's about it now, Tech's here, so he might want to reply to this now. ( I'm at his house. )

Well, there is really... when we play, I usually go for flying, and Eternaluk goes for ground units ( which works surprisingly well, bringing in approx. equal wins and losses online ^^). But it's really important to choose a main unit to concentrate on and build two of the buildings that produce them. This makes for a much larger force, faster.

It depends really, i normaly make a diverse force since they are way harder to counter (if you come w/ air units all the time the opponent can anticipate and go heavy on airdefense).

Aye, but that's why I take extreme measures to make sure the enemy doesn't know ^^. I wait until I have a large enough force to make fast and decisive attacks before they can build a ton of towers ^^.

And we do mix and match our forces, it's just that I try to play with greound troops more than air, and Tech trys to use air more than ground units.

Basicaly, he waits until they attack me.. and then attacks the enemies..

tip: dont try this against a NE player, youlle hate the end result

Hahaha, he already found that out. :P

Aye, Undead aren't the best to try it against either. You need a Frost Wyrm rush to play arial against Undead, as Freezing Breath is amazing against all those tightly packed towers...

However, I did do very well against a certain team of NE players, as I had a Shade in their base, and I could attack at the precise right moment ^^.
