I've been checking out some flight times and prices, and when I look at the arrival/departure times that are about decent, I end up with 4053 NOK (aprox. 320 GBP) - close to double the price I payed when I flew over for the last LAN
Right now, that doesn't look too good, with a rather tight student's economy in mind

Crapola !!  It's taken me a month to realise this LAn date clashes with Enemydown's LAN date too.  This may well be the very dMw LAN i've missed.

Fancy having 2 LAN's on the exact same date.

Well BigPaddy, BigRanger, Magnus, Bearbison and myself will be coming I'm sure. I've also asked Gunner, Robs69, Grimreaper to come (assuming its ok with you guys?) - I'll keep them upto date. They all play BF2, CSS, COD2 etc.

Really looking forward to it again guys and meeting you all for our bi-annuall 'broker back mountain' fest!! :norty:

DuVeL

Was a bit bored at work but I've checked a few things if I went again but it will depend on a few things.

I've just finished an email towards EasyJet concerning lugage and the strict control we had the last time at Stansted. Because the strict controle I ended up in having such a delay that I nearly missed the last train back home (another thing, they messed up the traintimes and such so for people from the East of the NL it's cr@p).
I'm allready thinking of other ways to get to the airport as in part car, part train but I'd rather not leave my car on a trainstation.
I could also take a flight back earlier but that would mean that I have to leave the LANvenue earlier.

So it'll depend on a couple of things for me: moneysituation and travellingsituation.
For now I'm awaiting the EasyJet-reply...

Hi Dewey,

I'm sure it'll be fine for the others to come. The only caveat - as you know - is that the LAN is offered to Charlie members, then Bravo members and then Alpha members & everyone else. So long as it doesn't get booked out in full before it hits being open for all then I would guess it's fine. I would also be very surprised if it does get fully booked out.... it certainly wasn't last time.

JB

It's ED's first ever LAN so I really can't comment on how good they are.  Seems to be some good cash thrown at it with some good prizes, ought be good.  Will tell.  :)
