The women that is mentioned as maybe bit in that artikel was bit badly w/ over 100 punctures next to a broken arm and a shatterd hand. Pritty scary stuff :sad:

I know someone who lives a few miles from it when it happened. :P Which would have been worse, a lion or a gorilla? :g:

A bear.

No seriously. A bear is just about the worse animal that you would want to be targetted by. They run, swim and climb better than you and (urban myth alert) your only defence (assuming you aint armed with a gun possessing serious stopping power) is to play dead.

However, faced with a the choice of a lion or gorilla, personally I'd choose a lion. Becaise if you throw some **** in their face they'll run away.

You can survive lions during the day by stretching up very tall to appear as big as possible, and outstaring it apparently. While not guaranteed, its your best bet. Meet one at night however...

Smack a grizzly on the nose and and it'll run home crying. Its true I did it once. It was the only way to get rid of her once I'd sobered up...:blink:
