The really tanned girls with white make up are called Ganguro girls, ganguro being the style.

If you google or youtube for mamba ganguro you will get even crazier stuff!

Visit Don Quixote duty free in Roppongi, over the road from the Hard Rock Cafe (which does a good lunch deal - Mt Fuji Burger

). 7 floors of all manner of stuff, but best is the snack area where you can buy big tubs of things that you don't know what's inside. Would loved to have visited the Tsukiji fish market, or the proper chef's knife places, only brought one back.

I found great model shop (no, plastic tanks....) in Akihibara inside Yellow Submarine. The Imperial Palace gardens are nice, and free. But I preferred Hiroshima to Tokyo, looking back. Kyoto is good, take Johnny Hiroka's English speaking walking tour, from outside the station across from the Tower, well worth it.

Unfortunately i have never been to Japan myself so i couldn't really tell you much about good spots to go to. I am mainly a very big fan of Japanese rock and love the different fashion they have in Japan so thats something i know about most haha.

I'm sure you'll have an awesome trip and snap some good pictures
