Found this site with a list of some of the vending machines they got standing around in Japan (according to the site there is one vending machine for every 20 people over there)

Japanese vending machines are the cheapest source of beer out there, and they chill them nicely too.:cheers:
Cold drinks machines are thankfully plentiful, as you need to keep drinking due to the heat and humidity. It's fun to pick a drink and guess what it is, green tea and fruit drinks are easy, but is it oolong tea or some ditchwater?:g:
Never pay for toilet paper, small packets get handed out in the street and we never found recycled pants machines, or the machines that will dispense a two piece suit if you need one for a meeting.:crying:

Such a stange place. Over here you have shops, or a vending machine when you've not got time for a shop. Over there from these images it look like they just randomly put the things anywhere.
I do like the mobile phone charging one, that would come in handy so often.

I think in Hiroshima, we counted something like 20 next to each other, but you frequently saw little packs of 3-4 lurking on a corner.
