Alts for Kara ?

I'll prob end up repeating what has been said earlier that we need more core members for 25 mans ect. But in the meantime i see no harm in alt KZ runs, i being the master of alts have a huge amount of fresh 70's (8 lvl 70's), with healers/dps's mostly. I wouldnt mind taking my Priest one day into KZ ect.

What is important is the class combo's have to be good, probably more so being an alt run. We'll see!

yeah i would like to take aggrobot to kara to see how he does as for alts i think it would be good to have some sort of alt runs as they can be just as important as a main for when some1 cannot show any time, who can we fall back on if no alts are geared up that are the class thats needed at the time

i'd say that if we dont go ZA tonight, we should organize this Alt kara run just to test it out, my pally can either DPS or Tank as you both of Jims gears are awesome

With the changes upcoming to heroic badges and the supurb items it might be nifty to set up an alt run on a off day. Bastet/Sok are still after thier PVP cloak too, so i am sure i can find a char to help on

as many other people have said here the kz run for alts is high valued by alot of ppl here. and I also seen some posts saying stuff about progress, and we ain't gonna get alot better progress by letting alts in, IMHO we should let new players into kz and gear them up! some of you are in all the raids through kz, and I would love to see new faces filling in your spots. that's just my opinion

think i'm a bit late posting on this but hey hoo...

at the moment my char is prob in the middle of both groups. While i have some good gear i'm prob not geared as well as i should be for some of the more challenging raid instances. Also, i've just come over from a guild who it appears didn't quite have their tactics nailed down (with them, 4 hours nearly to get to curator, 3 hours on an uber fast run with you guys to down illhoof and aran).

While not counting myself out for ZA, i think i'd prob suit running with the alt group for a bit if it does come to pass. Not purely for the loot, but maily for getting to know how you guys do things. I've only raided with you guys for 2 kara nights and cleared a little trash in ZA and i'd like to get more accustomed to how you guys work.

As i said, i'm not counting myself out for ZA, always more than happy to come heal if available / needed, but as i'm not as expereinced raiding (only went to kara maybe 4 or 5 times before joining you guys and i'm a "holy at 70" priest), i may have to excuse myself the odd boo-boo like what happened tonight when i ran up the stairs and caused a wipe in error (will donate 20g to GB for that one).

well, that's my two cents on the issue.

with experience will come calmness hopefully

Good points

Kara could be run as a more social raid to help gear up mains / alts keeping in mind that priority will always be to main chars for invites and loot

Another point is people may say "well ill do it on my alt but not on my main" If u sign up and your main is *needed* for the raid then you must be happy to swap

Undecided if to add another raid for this or use one of the current 3 nights.

Use 1 of the current days..

We try ZA now as we don't have the numbers for 25 man raids...

But kara is needed to get the people geared up and getting to know the other people.

Kara is easy for that, the main group that is already geared up knows kara so the new people can learn and gear up the fast way.

Kara aint a problem but we still need to go there and not focus fully on ZA alone.. If we focus on ZA then only the really geared up people stand a change and the new people are left alone... So both raids should be done.

But a 4th raid day is a bit much, we are a social guild or are we going to be hardcore raiding?? As i think some people don't have the time for.

maybe kara should be used as a badge run for the main raid grp!,also to help newcomers to gear up! kara is a good means to an end for getting gear!

the new badge rewards are gonna make people more acceptable to higher end raids,all we need is the numbers/active, players/members increased.

The alt runs should be a different night from our main raids,but adding a 4th raid night would be hard,so a compromise would have to be done i guess.
