First off, A BIG THANKS to all those that lent me screw drivers, pliers, knives, advice and what not.

For those that don't know, my motherboard died on the trip down to the LAN and I spent the best part of Friday on the phone getting numbers for anything IT/Peterborough related. (Thanks to the wife for that)

3 hours later and with about 30 minutes before shops close I get a tip off and find a nice little independent IT shop. -£50 and +1 motherboard later I battle the rush hour traffic and get back to the LAN about 5:30.

Minus another couple of hours and a T-Bone steak later I have finally manager to boot my PC. HURRAH!

I guess it was just my turn.

Second Off :)

Thanks to everyone, the organisers, the members, the admins that slap you off balconies while being hunted my flash eating zombies. It would be crap without you.

Thirdly, a little apology to some of the guys I didn't get much of a chance to speak too (ACL), the weekend went far to quick.

Finally , just a quick mention, it was great meeting Venom, Jabbs and Doc for the first time. It was also good to see Delan again :), glad you guys could make it.

Cya when my PC has been rebuilt and I've repaid the wife with some quality time.

Thanks Again

Jamoe aka Docs Bitching MoJo.

Quote from: Venom;228745Funniest part of the weekend for me was our final round of the deagle comp where at 6 - 6 I shot Blunt in the head and got kicked effectively losing the match.. Sorry Blunt..

Was my best moment of the LAN :):roflmao:

Amen to that (except the bit about it being your last LAN) and thanks for the loan of a monitor Doors and some kind souls loan of a cable. Meeting all the familiar 'names' in person was a buzz and I had a fantastic weekend. Thanks guys, hopefully this will not be my last LAN, but if I kept drinking at that rate it may well have been. Cheers :yahoo:
Thanks to all whom made it possible:worshippy:

Sulky, cheers for being such a nice guy. That FS2004 stuff got off to a really bad start :|

Quote from: Benny;228706Lovely curry last night, thanks Bob / Lionheart / Del, thoroughly enjoyed it, saw off your local vindaloo without hitch, until 6am this morning when it was insistent on seeing the light of day again.

Cheers gents, even if you had to put up with my diatribes about the March museum.

Great fun, good fun, quite fun, still fun, more of that next time please.

Let us arrange a dMw trip to that museum next time and get it sorted then!

Your last lan??? How come Doorman? Thanks again mate for setting up LFS for me much appreciated - I now have no excuse not to play it :D

Quote from: Doorman;228743Although I didn't bring my kit I experienced the true ethos of dMw LANs. Getting sloshed, talking crap and eating faaaaar too much!  Hard to think it may well be my last LAN

Yeah cheers for a good weekend guys, would have been better if I hadn't snapped the connector head of my SATA hard drive and had to spend nearly all of friday night reinstalling EVERY-BLOODY-THING whilst panicking that I'd lost all my degree work. Thankfully Sulky managed to Jerry-Rig my drive to get it working long enough to back my stuff up!! Still I got some good play time in.

Playing on the Wii on friday night with everyone was a blast (I still can't beleive I won at Golf!) and I even had a go a CSS (my first time) and I quite liked it so I might be joining you guys online sometime :)  My short go on LFS with my God awful steering wheel (BTW thanks Doorman for getting that going!) has whet my appetite enough to go buy a decent wheel and getting into that as well.

Only got a few crap photos with my camera phone as in my rush to get packed I forgot my decent camera, still it seemed that there were plenty of people there taking much better photos than me anyway :)

Shame about the rest of the B.I.G Guys not being able to make it this time around but hopefully we'll get the gang all back together for LAN XIV.
