to all the guys who organised the LAN... you know who you are

:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:       :clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

and to all the guys that came and made a fun place to frag

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Benny

Aye, thanks all, had a great time. True to form, I probably offended half of March and I still don't get it, but there must be somnething about the place, I keep coming back.

Lovely curry last night, thanks Bob / Lionheart / Del, thoroughly enjoyed it, saw off your local vindaloo without hitch, until 6am this morning when it was insistent on seeing the light of day again. Cheers gents, even if you had to put up with my diatribes about the March museum.

So, in closing, cheers for another great LAN weekend. See you at the next.

Sn00ks

So you made it home safely Benny.

Yes thanks lads for sorting this weekend out. :yahoo:

Game of the weekend must have been zombie CS:S. I nearly wet myself when Benny slapped Jamoe off the balcony :roflmao:, I still snigger now when I think of it! :norty: The amazing thing was that he didn't get zombified and made it back to our hidey-hole! :lmfao:

We need to get it added to the Friday night rota I think. Must try it on Whitey/Sadako's new map. I think it has great potential on that. Might have to slow the zombies down a bit and make them a bit easier to kill.
I do exactly what the little voices tell me to.

PC Specs:- Black box with some fans that go whirrr, a few lights, things inside that get warm, headphones, keyboard (a clicky one), mouse (with buttons and no squeak), disks (2-off SSD and HDD) and a monitor of sufficient proportions.

Armitage

yeah great LAN guys, had loads of fun and now can't wait for the next one:dribble:

Liberator

Yup, great LAN, again.

I'm still aching from laughing so hard at Benny admin slapping anyone that wasn't securely fixed in place on Kismayo Zombie server.:roflmao:

Although I may have been his not so unwitting accomplice when he wanted to know who was balanced on the railings.

Myself and GhostMjr made is through to get thorougly trounced by Sadako and Buttafacio in the `Deagle Tourney` final*.
The usual bout of DOA PC's, some of which weren't fixable. It seems strange that Sadako can arrive with a PC and Delan can arrive with a case full of bomb bits to build a PC from t'continent and they always work. But a couple of hours driving see's off a lot of our local ones.

Thanks guys for a great LAN.

The Zombie session last night was brilliant :roflmao:

Jabbs

I couldn't agree more with the comments above.  The weekend had everything.  From hard fought tournaments (deagle comp excluded - easy win tbh for Doc and Butta) to end the weekend playing it must have been 4 or 5 hours of Zombie!  OMG that was sooo funny! :D

I'm gonna post a bit later a proper noobs/virgin guide to the LAN probably aimed at all those people who didnt make it and for those people who have never been to one.

Doorman

Although I didn't bring my kit I experienced the true ethos of dMw LANs. Getting sloshed, talking crap and eating faaaaar too much!  Hard to think it may well be my last LAN
Rock on dMw. :yahoo:

Zootoxin

Well I really enjoyed my first LAN so thanks very much guys. It was great to finally put faces to names...
Thanks to Doorman and Tealeaf for loaning me some kit and thanks to Bigfatcat from the lift to London I got home earlier than I would have left March :)

Funniest part of the weekend for me was our final round of the deagle comp where at 6 - 6 I shot Blunt in the head and got kicked effectively losing the match.. Sorry Blunt..

It was also funny watch Jabbs get a tan off his monitor!

LooL what can I say - I'm redfaced Venom! :D

And yes, that heady on Blunt was awesome!  Because you did it in the first few seconds you got kicked and as you say lost the match!

Yet Another Great LAN:D

Zombies was hilarious late last night, and a brilliant way to learn a map*

The Deagle tourney ended in tears for me, tears of laughter:lmfao: that was probably your best shot all w/end Venom:sideways:

Thanks for all your hard work you LAN Pixies, it ran like a well oiled machine.

BigFatCat

a big thankyou to all those who put in the effort to make these events what they are. The sous chef will learn the folly of betting against me eating a snack sized steak. Plus we won 8-1 at Wembley today.
Will strip for badges

Damn it, I was going to steal that off you as well.

Can't agree more, we found so many extra places that we had never even seen before on Kismayo. Some poor map maker out there went to all the expence of adding roof top hiding places we never even knew about.

So, what night is going to be Zombie night.

Lots of drink and 'all talk' is a definate requirement.
