BTW peeps, shall I use a colour system the same as the god-awful default theme on this forum? I personally use the blue/brown theme on these forums.

We're hosting an ED Cup match on the MH on the 8th and I'm expected to 'admin' it. Please let me know how to turn all this stuff off for that. :lol:

Something I will say is that we have an 'evolved' version of PCS style on our server. It aint hardcore PCS but it most certainly aint deathmatch. Until the admin thing is sorted, all dMw members are ambassadors of MH-PCS and should not be afraid of speaking out in-game if they think something isn't right.

Agreed - most new Hookers are learning and enjoying the MH PCS style with ease. The odd comment has had to be thrown in here and there, but that is to be expected, and the number of comments made to those new players has (to their credit) been far less than I expected.

Not sure about this one. For example, we had a couple of great maps the other evening where we unbalanced the teams to take away the inbuilt map advantage for one side or the other. Would the plugin have allowed this?

N42 use one of the better team balancers but that also has its problems, particularly with the lower numbers we usually play with.

For example, let's say you have a run of say CT10-1T with 2v2 on de_dust. Then some more peeps join and the teams become say 5v5. At this stage the Ts start raping the CTs, but the plugin will keep saying that the T's have a disadvantage and move people to T until the scores level up again.

I may be wrong here, but that was my understanding of how the N42 plugin works. I'm NOT saying no to team balancer plugins, but we need to be careful with them to allow for new Hookers, inexperienced players etc. We have to cater for a broad range of playing skills on MH.

I think that as there is a -=[dMw]=- member on MH at most times, we probably ought to make sure that the Admins have been set up and that we politely talk to people if the need coaching or if a change of team to help game play is needed. We have some good people here and I'm sure they'd handle it.
