COD4 announcement

I think it would be good to get an announcement out to let members know we have a COD4 server starting up - and maybe linking the affiliate link to purchase the game.  A suspect we have a few members who do not yet have the game who will buy the game if w ehave a server, so we may as well allow them some time to prep for it.

Maybe post an announcement saying it is coming next Monday (in a week's time) and to be ready for it?

I'd just like to see what happens with BF2 on monday night. it could look as if we are pre-empting the demise of BF2 if we announce before it is demonstrably unpopular.

I think that BF2 have had its chance. Bring on the new stuff and see if that survives. :)

I hope this game fairs a bit better than BF2. The problem with Bf2 was us having a non ranked server and that gave us number issues. Infantry only works with  4 or 5, but then we limit ourselves to a few maps that work well.
 
COD4 being one of the games of the moment. Still top 5 in the charts and plays as well as CS in multiplayer. lets see if we can get it the same following that CS and LFS enjoy :dmw:
