Just had a lenthy conversation with ebuyer, kept my cool, and they have re-weighted it and are sending out a replacement for delivery tomorrow, they have apologised for the mistake.

Could this story have a happy ending ?

All Sotrted, Processor arrived today 18 Hours afer they said thay would sort it which is no mean feat as it had to go to N.Ireland.

Overall, obviously unhappy that there was any sort of problem, but mistakes happen, and I'm pleased to see that it was sorted in good time with minor effort on my part.

.... and they all Lived happily ever after.... The End

I guess this is the place. I ordered a Samsung 19" widescreen monitor from eBuyer on Saturday night (1st order from them) Great price, and received it this morning 9am (Tuesday) I don't know if I caught them on a good day or it that's their normal service but it impressed me! :D Oh, FREE postage too.

EDIT: Just read through some other reports...I hope the monitor doesn't give trouble. Having said that, I had a problem with a Samsung and they(Samsung) dealt with it direct...beautifully.

My experience with them is if you go for super saver it's generally one day after next working day. I use them. I ordered parts for my current computer from them.

And you still haven't given the model number of the Viewsonic you had "problems" with or the response from them when you did???!!!........Do I sense some ambiguity?, some favourtism, some sexual chemistry perhaps?.......Do you want your Samsung monitor???, .....ddi they dress it in sensual lingerie that you just couldn't resist?, was it Christmas or were the stockings thrown in for FREE:devil:

I blame Doorman :norty:

I'm gonna do Supersaver from now on as the 'quick' service cannot be relied upon.

Ordered a new Harddrive over the weekend. Late saturday with Super Saver. It asked me is I wanted to pay £10 and have it arrive Tuesday and I thought, I'm in no rush. Anyway, dispatched Monday arrived today (Tuesday) before lunch. Another great bit of service from eBuyer.

Seems their Supersaver is the best option as whenever I've paid extra it hasn't (more often than not) come when I wanted it.

I imagine they have fewer orders these days and therefore ship the super saver early. :) Those cables I ordered also came allot earlier, but that was a pain because I had the week off. I would have got them delivered to home but we were away from the Friday and didn't want to risk it.

Still haven't check those cables yet, been off work looking after Samuel, poor sods suffering with eczema and a cold :(
