Err I think for gaming purposes a 100mb link will be sufficient. So all this talk about 1gb is pretty immaterial. A standard CAT5e cable will be sufficient.

Ye if you close to the switch a cat5e should be sufficient if you already got em else you might aswell buy the trough Jamoe as they are cheap

Just hang fire for a second. I need to talk to TL but he's a tad busy.

I think we've bought a cable of the stuff so people as we've need looooong cabling for the switches.

If we bought 305m then people can just make their own. I'd rather people bought them from dMw (at cost price or whatever), that way the funds go back to the Community.

I'll catch up with TL and let you know.
