The first one was directed by him and was pretty good.

Anyway I'll probably end up watching this but I don't have high expectations.

Im really looking forward to the sequel, first one was a awsome action flick and well made. Also considering Megan Fox is in it is alone enough for me to go watch it.

Unlike Bladerunner, which is brilliant regardless of what anyone else things, I'll accept Transformers is a matter of opinion. Michale Bay did direct The Island which was decent enough.

I still maintain that Transformers was a complete missed opportunity though. With source material like that he should have made something comparable to Jurassic Park or Peter Jacksons King Kong.
